The Animal League of Birmingham is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization raising funds for non-profit rescues and shelters.
We service those in Birmingham, Alabama and the surrounding areas who support the health, welfare, and general well-being of animals in need.
Additionally, our spay and neuter assistance program helps reduce shelter and rescue intake numbers.
This organization was started by a group of women from diverse backgrounds who had a strong desire and a common goal to improve the quality of life for animals in need. The primary goal is to raise money through various fundraising events.
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at The Homewood Public Library.
